What is IV therapy, and what are the benefits?
IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients directly into your bloodstream. Your body absorbs it all much more efficiently than with oral supplements because it bypasses the digestive process. Clients often use IV therapy for hydration, immune support, energy boosts, athletic or hangover recovery, and more.
Are IV drips safe?
Yes, IV drips are completely safe when they’re administered by a licensed health professional like our nurses. We only use the highest quality supplements possible.
Does it hurt?
Not for the vast majority of people! You might feel a poke for a few seconds when the IV is first inserted, but most people report little to no discomfort.
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that serve as building blocks for proteins. They can help support general well-being, enhance physical performance, and promote longevity. If you’re an athlete or performer (or general busy bee), they can be a great tool for boosting your recovery.
How long does an IV session take?
An IV therapy session typically lasts 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the type of infusion you receive. NAD+ sessions take longer. We recommend allotting at least two to three hours for those, depending on the dosage you receive and your experience with them, as the timeframe can vary widely depending on your body’s tolerance level.
How soon will I feel the effects?
Many clients report feeling refreshed and energized shortly after treatment. However, results can vary based on your health, hydration status, and the type of IV therapy.
Do I need a consultation first?
A phone consultation is optional, but you will need to complete a health intake form before your appointment. A nurse practitioner will review your health form to determine if IV or peptide therapy is right for you.
If you have specific questions that you would like to be answered prior to your appointment, feel free to book a phone consult or reach out via email, and we’ll be in touch before your treatment.
How often should I receive IV or peptide therapy?
This depends on your personal needs and the ailment you want to help treat. For best results, we often recommend monthly infusions, with an additional infusion if you may be feeling run down, under the weather, preparing for travel, or an athletic event, etc.
Some of the treatments can be a quick fix and are only needed when the ailment is active i.e.: migraine, illness, post-workout or travel fatigue, etc. We suggest speaking to one of our nurses to determine what would suit you best!
Are your services covered by insurance?
Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance. We do our best to provide services at a reasonable price that still maintains the highest level of quality and care. We are able to accept most HSA cards.
Who should avoid IV or peptide therapy?
People with certain medical conditions may not be suitable candidates. That’s why we require a health screening before beginning any therapy.
Can I customize my IV drip or peptide plan?
Absolutely! We offer a range of pre-designed therapies and can tailor treatments to your specific health needs and goals.
